Everything you need to know about fishing Maryland's premier waters
We employ various time-tested methods based on season, conditions, and fish behavior
We use small spoons, bucktails, and surge tubes with planers and inline weights. This method covers large areas of water and is excellent for locating active fish. We may also catch bluefish and Spanish mackerel while trolling.
Creating a scent trail with ground bait to attract fish to the boat. This technique is highly effective during warmer months and allows for exciting close-to-boat action with multiple hookups.
Using live bait fish to target trophy stripers. This method often produces the largest fish and provides an exciting fishing experience as you feel every movement of the bait and the explosive strike.
The premier sportfish of the Chesapeake Bay. Known for their fighting ability and excellent table fare.
Aggressive fighters known for their sharp teeth and powerful runs. Excellent table fare when prepared fresh.
Also called redfish, these copper-colored fighters are known for their strength and endurance.
Beautiful spotted fish that provide excellent light tackle fishing action in shallow waters.
Flatfish that are masters of camouflage and prized for their delicate, flaky white meat.
Abundant panfish that are great for beginners and provide consistent action throughout the year.

Over 90% of our charters result in fish being caught, with many guests limiting out on their target species. While we can't guarantee fish (they don't always cooperate!), we guarantee our best effort to put you on them.
